Homewood Homes Sold Market Report – Jan - Oct 2017:

Sold Sales: Homewood CA has had thirty-five (35) single family homes sold from Jan 1 through October 31, 2017.

The Homewood single family home sales price is down slightly with an average median homes sales price of $640,000.

The slight decrease may be attributed to only one lakefront sale versus three lakefront sales the year before.  Use caution with the smaller sales data and always check out the entire North Lake Tahoe - Truckee regional market trend.
 
The median average days on market has dropped almost in half from 163 DOM in 2016 to 83 DOM in 2017*.

Cash Sale Transactions: The number of cash sale transactions for the Homewood area has increased and is at 40%, which means 4 out of every 10 home sold in the Homewood CA area was a cash transaction.

Distress Sales:  Distress sellers (bank foreclosures- real estate owned (REO’s), short sales, and court approval sales) has declined and is currently at 0% (a normal market typically has 1-5% of all sales are distressed).

Active Homes for Sale: Homes for Sale in Homewood, CA were ten (10) Active– available homes as of 11/18/2017. They ranged in price from$499,000 to $3.542 million, with an average median asking sales price of $959,500.
